Dennis Prager guest speaker at benefit Saturday evening, March 29, devotees of the Dennis Prager Radio Show, which airs locally on KRLA radio, will have an opportunity to see as well as hear, and perhaps even meet, the popular host. Prager will appear as guest speaker at “An Era for Change — Breaking the Cycle of Homelessness,” a gala dinner and auction at the University Club of Pasadena, to raise funding for Elizabeth House , the only shelter in the San Gabriel Valley for homeless pregnant women and their children.

Hazel J. Williams Gaub, 88, a native of Meadville, Pa. for 83 years, died Sunday, Jan. 30 in La Cañada following a brief illness. Mrs. Gaub had resided locally with her daughter Terry, son-in-law and grandsons since 1999 but always considered Meadville her home. Born in Meadville on April 29, 1916 to William John Williams and Hazel Douglass Williams of North Street, she was one of five children. A graduate of Meadville High School, she continued her education and in 1938 became a certified beautician employed by the Vanity Fair Salon of Meadville.
