Michele Crockett Bissias passed away peacefully on June 3, 2009. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Dorothy Crockett. She is survived by Peter, her loving and devoted husband, who she so fondly referred to as "Sweet Pea," and her precious and cherished daughter, Taia, who will always be her "Sweet Love." She leaves behind her sister Paula Lein, brother-in-law Chuck Lein, her nephew and niece who so adored her, Grant Lein and Amanda Lein, in-laws Nicholas and Frances Bissias and sisters-in-law Diane Bissias and Elaine Bissias.

Ann Christensen was a lady on a mission and was overflowing with that captivating essentiality called enthusiasm. Every memorable act in the history of the world is a triumph of enthusiasm. Nothing great was ever achieved without it because it gives any challenge a new meaning.

One Friday afternoon, I was playing a familiar role. I was Mr. Mom. This time however, I faced a much bigger challenge. I was taking care of five little girls: Rebecca-Marie Kaze, Page and Camille Rivett, and Sabine and Simone Puglia. They wanted to have a 'Girl Fest,' a name concocted by my wife signifying an all girls; no holds barred; praise the Lord and pass the ammunition type of play date. (I hate that term play date?but that's another story.) "What was I thinking"! We were to rendezvous after school at 1500 (3 p.m.)
