Currently, there is an invasion of designer shoes, extremely high heels, wild colors and more styles than you can ever imagine. Meghan Cleary, host of HSN?s ?Shoe Therapy,? has found that there is a strong link between shoe style and personality. For instance, she believes that those wearing high heels are ?go getters?; Ballet flat wearers are multi-taskers; boots are associated with determined women; a sneaker-wearer is a natural type and trendsetter; flip-flops reveal that you are an individualist.

There are cycles of fashion trends from which to choose clothing styles that will personally work for you. Fashion trends evolve, disappear and reappear. As I have previously indicated, your personal style is based on your clothing personality, coloring, bone structure, energy intensity and body structure. Education is essential to work through the many choices that you will have each season. New trends are introduced before each season. Sometimes, it is difficult to think about purchasing bathing suits when snow is on the ground, or purchasing coats when the weather is 102 degrees.

Shari Tores and Suzanne Paine , real estate agents associated with MacGregor Realty, looked like top models as they walked down the runway at the WCR (Women's Council of Realtors) Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show held recently at the Glendale Hilton. Hundreds of realtors and affiliates attended the luncheon where the annual fashion show is considered the "big event." "This event is always a fun time with fellow realtors. Everyone seems to enjoy it and the food was great.

Katie Melane Eyster and Brian Michael Spinelli were united in marriage last July 21 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in San Pedro. Following the wedding ceremony a dinner and dance reception was held at Palos Verdes Country Club in Palos Verdes Estates. Katie is the daughter of Richard and Cindy Eyster of La Cañada Flintridge. She is a 1999 graduate of La Cañada High School and a 2003 cum laude graduate of Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television, where she earned her bachelor of arts degree in film production.

Bank of America announced it hoped to be in operation in its new quarters by Thanksgiving of '96. Twenty Years Ago … In an effort to upgrade a school district music program that had suffered from a lack of funding for several years, the La Cañada school board heard a recommendation to hire a music consultant to conduct a general music program for all students in grades one through six. The cost would be $20,000, according to a report.
