This year, the assessed total value of La Cañada Flintridge properties went up by $400 million which calculates to 9.1 percent overall growth from last year. There are 7,231 single family residential homes. 81 residential income and 317 commercial industrial properties. Given the small size of LCF with a 7,629 parcel account, a nine percent overall growth is a substantial increase considering that La Puente was ranked in the top 10 among cities with the greatest percentage change with a 12.9 percent increase.

La Cañada Flintridge's assessed valuation for 2005 was $4,243,077,387, a nine percent increase from 2004's figure of $3,893,645,316, according to Los Angeles County Assessor Rick Auerbach, who last week released a record 2005 Assessment Roll of $855.8 billion.
