Whether it’s for a Valentine’s getaway or not, everyone at some point in their relationship searches for that special place that has all the special touches, is easy to get to, and that will make just the right impression on the partner who will join you for this retreat from every- day living. Problem is, it can be a bit of a crapshoot making your selection. Everybody advertises with words like romantic and special, but not all getaways will measure up to your standards.

Humans have invaded Monstropolis! Taxis take whole families through the streets of the monster city in a ride inspired by the Disney/Pixar film "Monsters Inc." A human child has come back through the closet when a monster came to scare her, and now she is terrorizing the gruesome citizens who live peacefully in the city of Monstropolis. This is a dark ride like the ones in Fantasyland, but it has a new age twist. The technology is state of the art so far as Randall Boggs, the monster who blends into the surroundings like a chameleon, and an amazing Roz at the end of the ride that interacts with park goers, but the layout, vehicle design, and ride design are reminiscent of Snow White, Peter Pan and Universal Studio's E.T. ride, especially in a Child Detection Agency scene with CDA trucks all over.

Part 2 ? Puffy eyes: Morning puffiness may be due to an overnight accumulation of fluid, too much salt in the diet, allergies or water retention. Use a satin pillow case and an extra pillow. Cold cucumber and chilled gel masks can make puffy eyes look smooth by slightly reducing the swelling under the eyes. The best produce for puffy eyes is Sudden Change Under-Eye Serum. Mascara: Use an eyelash curler and then one of the lash-lengthening or volumizing mascaras.

Last week, your paper printed a letter from Mr. Tanabe who was "bashing" local law enforcement, particularly Det. Murphy, for a Tip of the Week titled "Family Safety is Paramount." Det. Murphy's tip was, if you have a firearm in your home, keep it locked up and out of reach of children and keep ammunition separate. Mr. Tanabe felt this tip was "worthless, arrogant and idiotic." I wonder what the mother/father of a child killed by an unlocked loaded firearm would have to say to that?
