Memorial Park was the destination Saturday as approximately 300 families enjoyed the springtime atmosphere at the annual Easter in the Park event. Sponsored by Dilbeck Realtors, the celebration featured several Easter egg hunts, an Easter hat parade, a bunny raffle, a petting zoo, Easter basket making and live music, among other activities. Audiences last week were treated to an amazing example of what one year of hard work and a lot of drumsticks can do at St. Francis High School's drum line performance. "We started the drum line to support the football program and join in the drum line competition," said drum line director Ty Gaddis. With the way the audience responded to the drum line performance the group of 20 boys have gone way beyond an addition to the football game. They have become a phenomenon on their own. "The school has really taken a liking to them," Gaddis said.
