Part 3 of 3   I scoured the shelters and rescue organizations and I found a dog whose family had lost their home to a foreclosure and had just left him in the backyard, for two weeks with no food and only a pool to drink from. I guess they lost their minds as well as their real estate, because what other explanation could there be for not dropping a dog off at a shelter? But then, it’s completely legal and safe to drop off a baby at any hospital or police station, no repercussions, they just say “thank you” and take it. But women still put babies in dumpsters so why should it surprise me that people leave animals to their deaths?
