The Spartan girls’ soccer team looked good in the first half. Clean passing, strong defense, and three shots on goal led onlookers to believe the team had a good chance to defeat the hosting Crescenta Valley Falcons. A pair of late goals for the Falcons, however, switched things up as Crescenta Valley came out for the 2-0 win Tuesday afternoon. “The first half was like total domination for us,” said La Cañada Head Coach Louis Bilowitz, whose team is now 3-2 in the preseason.
