“Oh, thank you! I just love it!” I say to my husband with the utmost sincerity as I unwrap another birthday gift. “Oh, stop your bad acting. Here’s the receipt,” my husband replies, not believing my lies for one instant. After 19 years of marriage, my husband has all but given up buying gifts for me, because apparently, I am rather hard to please. The gifts he wraps are really just place holders for the actual gift, which I will buy for myself after returning the hideous abomination he selected.

Hampstead Road , the left rear window was broken and a bag containing emergency road side equipment was stolen from a vehicle in the 4000 block overnight, Saturday and Sunday. Leycross Drive , the driver’s side window was broken, the leather arm rest and seat were damaged with small cuts and an iPod was stolen from a vehicle in the 1600 block overnight, Saturday and Sunday. Beulah Drive , the grass parkway in front of a residence was vandalized by a vehicle who apparently drove through the yard in the 4200 block overnight, Friday and Saturday.

Feb. 11 Theft: 5000 block of Commonwealth Avenue, before 2 p.m. Leather jacket, iPod Touch stolen from unlocked vehicle. Feb. 8 to 15 Burglary: 4200 block of Oakwood Avenue, before 8:20 a.m. on Feb. 15. Miscellaneous gold jewelry stolen, worth a total of $25,000. Kitchen window damaged.

The fashion industry creates the clothing trends each season. Unless you want to be a ?Fashion Mannequin?, you need to be aware of your individual style and only choose what works for you. Knowledge of your personal style is a result of education. Fashion trends are a result of the taste of the creator who creates according to their own personal taste. There is no consideration given for the bodies or personalities that will be able to wear the creation. For instance, there are few bodies that can wear wide horizontal lines, brilliant citrus colors, or huge chunky necklaces.

La Cañada Flintridge Oct. 20-21 Burglary: 4200 block of Woodleigh Lane, before 5 p.m. on Oct. 21. Baseball equipment and two pairs of sunglasses were stolen from a vehicle. Oct. 20 Vandalism: 4100 block of Commonwealth Avenue, between 7:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. A custom-designed mailbox was found broken. Oct. 15-16 Burglary: 1000 block of Foothill Boulevard, before 9 a.m. on Oct. 16. Grooming scissors, clippers, dog leashes and other items were stolen from a pet store.

Friday, June 23 Person(s) unknown entered a residence in the 4500 block of North Leata Lane in La Cañada and stole antique jade fruit pieces. Person(s)
