Veesart graduates basic training Air Force Reserve Airman Brianna M. Veesart has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. During the six weeks of training, Veesart studied the Air Force mission, organization, core values, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations. She also earned credits toward an associate in applied science degree relating through the Community College of the Air Force.

Air National Guard Airman First Class Carlos F. Hall has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations. In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

La Cañadan trains at Lackland AFB Air Force Airman Patrick R. Rodriguez graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Rodriguez completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. He is the son of Clarita Olson of Crown Avenue in La Cañada. St. Francis grad completes training Navy Seaman Alvin E. Grana , a 2001 graduate of St. Francis High School in La Cañada Flintridge, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. During the eight-week program, Grana completed a variety of training which included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety.
