A group of suit and tie-clad students hovered on the steps to Degheri Theater at St. Francis High School in La Cañada on the morning of Sept. 17, eagerly anticipating the arrival of a very special guest speaker: actor Kelsey Grammer. Grammer, a five-time Emmy Award winner for his work on television shows “Frasier” and “The Simpsons,” visited the campus as part of the school’s Visual and Performing Arts Guest Speaker Series organized by theater teacher Michael Tucci.

  The third chapter of the X-Men movie trilogy, "X-Men III The Last Stand," has just recently been released and from a comic book purist's point of view, it is one of the most embarrassing attempts in a long time, more even than the "HULK" film of 2003. This movie picks up in the not too distant future where the mutants are somewhat accepted in society and Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters is flourishing. Though it takes place after the second film, Nightcrawler is nowhere to be seen and his absence is never explained clearly.
