Letters to the Editor Coach Ballard This letter is written in response to public comments made by Bud Schaetzle at a School Board meeting on August 22, 2006. I have great respect for Bud Schaetzle and for his efforts in creating an outstanding club league program in the La Canada/La Crescenta area. I had a great experience with Bud four years ago when his son was on our La Canada Junior Baseball team that I was a coach of. I also have known Dennis Ballard for 15 years and thus, I believe that I have a unique perspective to respond to the issues recently raised by Bud Schaetzle.
