Dance Production 2007 will be presented on Tuesday, May 29 through Sunday, June 3 in the Glendale Community College Dance Theatre, located in the Sierra Nevada Gym on campus. The annual dance production has been held at the college for 38 years and features a variety of styles including jazz and ballet. Professor Lynn McMurrey directs the event. Shows are on May 29 at 8 p.m.; May 30, May 31 and June 1 at noon and 8 p.m.; June 2 at 8 p.m.; and June 3 at 2 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

SWING Inc. announces the return of weekly swing dances beginning Dec. 6 at the Rusty Pelican in Glendale. SWING Inc., a 10-piece La Cañada-based band, will be playing the traditional swing hits of Glenn Miller and Artie Shaw as well as the "new" swing hits of Brian Setzer and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. SWING Inc. plays regularly at the Derby, the Los Angeles County Fair and summer concerts in cities across California. They are best known for producing two years of weekly swing dances at the Green Hotel in Pasadena.
