The following protocol should be followed if choosing one of these forms of technological communication. Fax Machines : A fax machine is mostly used at a place of business or can be used in the home. It is preferable to voice mail because it can easily be saved for reference material. A professional fax cover sheet should include both of your names, address and fax numbers, both phone numbers, departments, and number of pages.
