Tickets are on sale now for the annual La Cañada Spring Home Tour, which this year takes place on Friday, May 3 and features local properties in a variety of architectural styles. “We have four terrific homes lined up for our guests to tour this year,” stated Pati Patao, chairman of this year's event. “Each of the homes has its own unique style and character with beautiful décor and architectural details. Everyone who attends will enjoy seeing the vision and workmanship of many talented architects, designers, and homeowners.

Sunny skies, spectacular home sites and supportive volunteers and patrons led to a successful Spring Home Tour Friday for the La Cañada High School 7/8 PTA. Although financial tabulations can’t be released yet, the annual fund-raiser garnered more than twice as many ticket sales on the day of the event as last year, said Katy Champ, tour organizer. “It went really well,” Champ added. Pam Callan, Dorie Miller and Cynthia Rodriguez were among the hundreds of residents and visitors from across the Southland that swarmed to the four homes featured on this year’s tour.

Four distinctly different La Cañada homes are featured on this year?s tour, which benefits La Cañada High School 7/8 PTA and offers participants a chance to see inside and outside some of the remarkable residences that dapple the neighborhoods of La Cañada Flintridge. In addition to viewing the four homes, folks who purchase a $40 tour ticket will get the opportunity to hear from and meet Eric Lloyd Wright, Jr., an architect and grandson of the famed Frank Lloyd Wright.
