I do love this warm spring weather we have been experiencing. In fact, it has been chamber-of-commerce perfect; a great advertisement for life in the foothills. The roses in my backyard are in full bloom and are sweetly fragrant. I especially like the happy bird songs I hear during the day but do, however, get slightly irritated when a particular mockingbird insists on warbling into the wee hours of the morning. College kids are winding up their studies for the year and parents are trekking to wherever they are to collect their belongings and haul them back home again.
