I’m in the same boat as the rest of America. I’m fairly smart, read newspapers, magazines, blogs and listen to radio talk show hosts, although these are generally more entertainment, and just as extreme as newspapers. So I’m just about as informed as, again, the rest of us. I support drilling in ANWR (Arctic National Wildlife Refuge), off-shore, and (almost) anywhere else we have oil, for a lot of reasons I’ll try to explain, in hopes you’ll read this and actually think about it rather than just fast-forwarding to mad, or mindlessly applauding.

Letters to the Editor Danger on 210 in LCF The reason I am writing this letter today is to save lives here in La Cañada. On Friday, March 10, I entered the 210 freeway going east, and was going to exit on Angeles Crest Highway. If you will remember, it started to hail that day, simultaneously as I entered the freeway. I felt my car lift off the road, and I started to hyrdroplane, into the right two lanes, into the left two lands and back and forth about five times, steering into it and not braking, as I remembered from driver's ed. Never before have I been more frightened and horrified.
