United Methodist Church celebrating Holy Week in LCF

  • More than 60 children from La Cañada, Altadena and the La Cañada United Methodist Church preschool enjoyed dying Easter eggs and participating in a sack race, a game of pin-the-tale-on-the-bunny and an Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 12, 2014, on the church campus. On Friday, April 18, 2014, at 7 p.m. the church will hold a Good Friday service and on Easter Sunday there will be a sunrise service as well as a 10:30 a.m. worship service.

La Cañada United Methodist Church celebrates Holy Week with a Good Friday service at 7 p.m. April 18, an Easter sunrise service Sunday at 5:45 a.m. in the church's outdoor amphitheater, and the regular 10:30 a.m. worship service led by Pastor Elaine Cho that will include music by the Sanctuary Choir and the Men's Chorus. A continental breakfast follows the sunrise service.

Childcare for pre-K is offered during the 10:30 a.m. service.

Last weekend, more than 60 children from La Cañada and neighboring Altadena turned out to enjoy games and an Easter egg hunt during the church's Easter party.
