The fad of streaking came to La Cañada in March 1974, with a couple of incidents that caught people's eyes. In the first, a man was reported to have been streaking through the Albertson's market on the 2200 block of Foothill Boulevard at 8:30 p.m. one Saturday. In the second, a couple of teens stepped out of the LCHS gym unclothed to streak across campus. They were quickly stopped by security personnel and escorted to the principal's office.
