Cleaning up after Eastwood

May 26, 2012

Writer Bill Kisliuk is correct in pointing out that Clint Eastwood, whose cut-out figure now guards the hills above the 2 (Glendale) Freeway, has a reputation for cleaning up corrupt towns (“A fistful of Clint Eastwood,” May 24). But if they strike quickly, the city fathers might get him first.

Although a notice at the trailhead specifically forbids it, he stands there defiantly with that infamous black cigar stuck in his mouth. And, if that's not enough, where is the poop scoop for his horse?
