Groups help with reforestation effort

August 17, 2011

Kiwanis Club of La Cañada AM members Dave Hemstreet, Chuck McGee and Tom Petersmeyer, along with members of the Franklin High School Key Club, worked on a recent day with TreePeople to water more than 300 seedlings planted in the Station fire burn area.

The reforestation project is part of a three-year program designed to plant approximately 20,000 trees per year in the Angeles National Forest.
