5100 block of Circle Vista Avenue: A GPS system and cassette adapter were stolen in the early-morning hours of Dec. 18 from an unlocked 2002 Honda Accord parked in the victim's driveway. The loss was valued at $200.
4300 block of Ocean View Boulevard: A MacBook Pro laptop, Apple iPad, computer case and engraved pen were stolen between 2 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. on Dec. 18 from a 2009 Acura sedan parked inside a gated apartment complex. The rear driver's-side window was smashed but a car alarm did not activate. The loss was valued at $3,300.
1200 block of Green Lane: An air compressor and radial saw valued at a combined $1,900 were stolen from an unoccupied house under construction sometime between 3 p.m. Dec. 22 and 7:30 a.m. Dec. 23.
4800 block of Vineta Avenue: A black leather purse left on the center console of a 2008 GMC Yukon was stolen overnight on Dec. 20 while the truck was parked in the victim's driveway. A brick was used to smash the front passenger's-side window. The purse contained several credit cards, one of which was used to buy $150 worth of groceries from an Albertsons market in Reseda.
4400 block of Chevy Chase Drive: A 2008 Chevy Silverado parked at the Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge was burglarized between 5:35 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. on Dec. 21. A green leather purse containing the victim's wallet, credit cards, roughly $50 in cash and a cell phone were taken from the car, which had been locked but showed no signs of forced entry.
