Area 1: 2100 block of Waltonia Drive: The passenger side mirror of a 2010 Chevy Tahoe was smashed in the early morning hours of Dec. 5. The damage was assessed at $300.

2100 block of Crescenta Avenue: The front passenger-side window of a gray 2008 Honda Accord was smashed and a Garmin GPS device stolen from the vehicle in the early morning hours of Dec. 5. The window was valued at $250 and the GPS device at $240.

4400 block of Ocean View Boulevard: A Panasonic flat-screen television valued at $880 was stolen between 2 and 4 p.m. on Dec. 2 from an apartment that appeared to be ransacked after a bedroom window was smashed. Prior to deputies arriving on the scene, a witness phoned the Crecenta Valley Sheriff's Station to report a white female in her early 20s with a blond ponytail fleeing the area with two men, one of whom was carrying a flat-screen TV. The three fled the scene north on Ocean View in a silver pickup truck.


4300 Rosemont Avenue: A 200 Chevy Astrovan and 2006 Chevy van were burglarized overnight on Dec. 1. Items taken from the minivan included a Louis Vuitton purse and wallet valued at a combined $1,500. Plumbing and power tools valued at $880 were taken from the van. Rear doors of both vehicles were left open.

Area 2

4800 block of Indianola Way: A 30-gigabyte Apple iPod valued at $100 was stolen overnight on Dec. 1 from a green MiniCooper. The driver-side door was left open by the suspect.

700 block of Lynnhaven Lane: A Magellan GPS device valued at $100 was stolen overnight on Dec. 1 from a 2008 Ford pickup. The driver- side door was left open by the suspect.

4600 block of Encinas Drive: At 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 2, a man noticed from his home that the interior light of his 2007 Ford Explorer was on and found a white male standing near an open passenger door. Deputies searched but could not find the man. An iPod charger cord was taken from the vehicle.

1200 block of Flanders Road: A 17-inch Hewlett-Packard laptop balued at $600 and a Verizon Internet access card were stolen overnight on Dec. 1 from a 2010 Suburu Outback. A deputy responding to the Encinas Drive incident noticed a driver-side door left open on the vehicle.
