Briggs and Frances avenues: Deputies conducted a traffic stop after observing a silver Mercury that failed to make a complete stop at a stop sign on Sept. 3 at 9 p.m. Deputies approached the vehicle and observed a female passenger who is a known drug user. They observed the passenger appear extremely agitated. They asked the woman to step out of the vehicle and conducted a sobriety test. They observed symptoms consistent with individuals who smoke crack. The suspect was arrested and booked for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
