Area 1

2400 block of El Caminito Street: Someone entered an unlocked 2001 Volkswagen Passat that was parked on the street overnight on May 11-12 from 5 p.m. to 7:45 a.m. A bag and a wallet containing identification and bank cards were stolen. The loss was valued at $250.

2900 block of Santa Carlotta Street: Deputies responded to a call regarding a suspicious person on May 14 at 2:20 a.m. They observed a man who was visibly intoxicated sitting on a curb. The man was detained and booked on charges of public intoxication.


3100 block of Foothill Boulevard: The front passenger window of a 2004 Toyota Camry was smashed after being left parked overnight on May 14-15. The suspect ransacked the vehicle and stole some unidentified items. Damages were set at $200.

3000 block of Encinal Drive: A suspect smashed the front driver’s side and passenger side windows of a 1995 Mercedes parked overnight on May 14-15. The suspect stole a car stereo. The damage and stolen items totaled $400.

Area 2

Commonwealth Avenue: Somebody smashed the front passenger of a 1995 Toyota Avalon parked in a driveway overnight on May 13-14 from 5:30 p.m. to 11 a.m. The suspect ransacked the car, but did not steal any items.

5000 block of Redwillow Lane: Somebody entered a home through an unlocked office window on May 15 between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The suspect stole two chain necklaces valued at $300.

5100 block of Crown Avenue: A victim reported that on May 15, between 12:30 a.m. and 8 a.m., someone attempted to steal a decorative brass lamp mounted on a wall.

Area 3

700 Foothill Boulevard: Deputies responded to a call regarding suspicious person at the Panda Express restaurant on May 14 at 6:42 p.m. They observed a male suspect acting strangely. They questioned the suspect and arrested him for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
