Area 1

2300 Panorama Drive: Someone stole a box of floor tiles from an open garage that was under construction between May 1 and 2. The loss was estimated at $1,400.

Area 2

1900 block of Foothill Boulevard: A man parked his Nissan Altima in the Jo-Ann Fabrics parking lot on April 29 at 7 p.m. Five minutes later, a person entered the store and informed him that someone had smashed the window of his car. He went out to his car where he discovered that his laptop, laptop case and cell phone had been stolen. The total loss was estimated at $1,040.


1600 block of Del Oro Drive: Someone stole copper wire and a power drill from a construction site April 29 to 30. The loss was estimated at $2,250.

600 block of Foothill Boulevard: Vons employees reported that a male and female suspect entered the store on April 30 at 1:30 p.m. The male approached a display, pulled out a black bag and filled it with 25 “Avatar” DVDs and 15 “It’s Complicated” DVDs. The couple then left without attempting to pay. The incident was captured by surveillance cameras.

1200 block of Foothill Boulevard: A person parked a Jeep Grand Cherokee in a parking lot at the Descanso Medical Building on April 30 at 8 a.m. When the person returned to the vehicle at noon, a window had been smashed and a laptop, medical books, blank checks and a backpack had been stolen from the vehicle. The loss was valued at $2,430.

ACH Christian Camp, Angeles Crest Highway: An employee of the ACH Christian Camp report that 10 paint ball guns and a plastic container were missing from an unlocked trailer on May 1. The site was abandoned in August during the Station fire, and when employees returned several days later the items were gone.

Area 3

1900 block of Verdugo Boulevard: Someone broke into a Chevy Tahoe parked in the United Artists Theater parking lot on April 29 between 7:40 p.m. and 11:38 p.m. The suspect stole the vehicle’s third-row bench seat and the review mirrors.

4400 block of Oak Drive: The theater instructor at La Cañada high school reported that between April 30 and May 2, someone entered the school theater and stole a king’s coronation crown and a stage curtain. The loss was estimated at about $162.
