January 15, 2010

Students from JK Dance Company rehearsed Jan. 6 for a national competition in Las Vegas, which will be in June. JK Dance Company is operated by Julie Kay Stallcup, owner of Revolution Dance Studio in Montrose. We asked students: “How do you feel knowing you are going to perform in one of the most famous cities in the world?”

“It’s really cool, because it shows that our company is good enough to do what a lot of people wish they could do. It’s a lot of fun; we’re all just a great big family.”

“It’s really fun. It’s really cool watching other people dance and [to] see how good they are. It’s just really fun to go out and dance as good as you can.”
