Quarterback Austin Heberger hit Adam Crawford with a 15-yard pass and a quick run for a touchdown early in the game. In the next drive, Claremont’s QB threw a pass which was batted down by Ronald Shin. In the following play, offense led by Austin Heberger, passed to Dylan McGoldrick who ran a reversal, found and open hole and rushed for another touchdown. The Wolf Pack offense came back with a stunning 50-yard touchdown run, evading the Gladiator defense. The Gladiators responded with a drive of their own led by Crawford and John Lytle, and capped by another touchdown by Thomas McConnell.

The twin defense of Benjamin Ahn and Jonathan Ahn batted the next two balls away for near interceptions. And to complete the second quarter, Ronald Shin evaded the Wolf Pack on the way to yet another Gladiator touchdown

The Gladiators scored again in the 3rd quarter when Heberger threw to Crawford for a 21 yard touchdown. In the 4th Quarter Ronald Shin intercepted an errant Wolf Pack pass, and in the ensuing drive Dylan McGoldrick scored on a 60-yard run.

Next up for the Gladiators are the always tough Glendale Bears on Oct. 18 at 8:30 a.m. at La Cañada High School.
