La Cañada Fliñtridge Public Library will display 32 oil paintings by artists Sarah Gordon and Karen Horn through July 30. Works will include new paintings, plus some of the favorites exhibited at the Library in October 2008 . Horn’s personal favorite, “Boy & Cat,” is included.
Horn, formerly a longtime resident of La Cañada Flintridge, lives in Glendale with husband, Kobey Horn. She began painting professionaly as she was concluding her 21-year career at the Tam O’Shanter Inn in 2007.
Gordon is a resident of Eagle Rock and spends her daytime working hours at Caltech in Pasadena.
Both artists study under local artist and instructor Margot Lennartz.
The La Cañada Flintridge Library is located at 4545 Oakwood Ave. The library is open Monday through Saturday.
