A hors d’oeuvre buffet table provided an array of tempting taste treats. Izabe’s Home Cooking Catering prepared a delicious dinner of pineapple chicken with side dishes that included fluffy white rice and a tangy citrus salad. The dessert was a choice of exotic confections - a ginger mango trifle and a layered chocolate trifle for dessert.
The highlight of the evening was the “Treasure Trade” live auction that raised money for the club’s operating expenses. The energetic Karen Nichols expertly performed as the emcee as she entreated guests to bid higher and higher for lovely gifts as well as “silly” ones.
