Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a side wall of Joann’s Fabrics was vandalized with spray-painted graffiti overnight on Nov. 22-23.

Orchard Lane in La Cañada, a woman reported that as she slept someone cut the screen to her bedroom window, reached into her bedroom and stole her purse containing several personal items, including the keys to her vehicle. She woke to discover her purse and vehicle were stolen. A bicycle valued at $3,000 was also stolen, it had been in the car’s trunk. The burglary took place about 6 a.m. in the 2000 block on Sunday. (CV Sheriff’s Station was notified that the stolen vehicle was involved in a hit and run accident and abandoned in San Fernando on Monday.)

Saint Katherine Drive in La Cañada, someone entered a home and attempted to steal the contents of a safe. The safe door was damaged; 800 block at midnight on Sunday.

Daver Avenue in La Crescenta, the front passenger window was shattered and a cellphone and bag were stolen from a vehicle in the 5100 block between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the right passenger window was shattered and two purses and a digital camera were stolen from a vehicle parked at the Mayors Discovery Park in the 1800 block between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the driver’s window was smashed and a purse and cellphone were stolen from a vehicle parked in the parking lot of Crestview Preparatory School in the 100 block between 10:30 a.m. and 12:05 p.m. on Saturday.

Glenwood Avenue in La Crescenta, the front windshield of a vehicle was damaged in the 4600 block between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Rockdell and Briggs avenues in La Crescenta, Nicholas Orton, 20, of La Crescenta was arrested on suspicion of possession of a narcotic and narcotic paraphernalia at 12:46 p.m. on Friday.

Greenridge Drive in La Cañada, several pieces of jewelry were stolen and there was an attempt to steal a safe from a residence.
