November 13, 2008|By Tiger Cubs, Pack 519, PCY

Two dens of Tiger Cub Scouts from Paradise Canyon Elementary School visited the offices of the La Cañada Valley Sun on Friday, Nov. 7.

The group consisted of 16 boys and seven adults.

“I learned that paper is made out of wood,” said Justin Hershman.

“First we played soccer, before going to the Valley Sun,” said Adam Burstine. The cubs also had lunch and walked from Memorial Park to the Valley Sun offices.

The visit lasted just a short time because the cubs were eager to get on with their weekend fun.

“We had fun visiting the Valley Sun,” said Aaron Smernoff. His friend Brent Stevens and the other cubs agreed.

Den 1 members participating in the outing included: Ian Tinkham, Brian Arnold, Brent Stevens, Lucas Oh, Justin Hershman, Kai Chavez, Jordan Hershman and Kyle SooHoo. Den 5 members who joined them were: Jeremy Ty, Matthew Burke, Adam Burstine, Michael Gray, Michael Callahan, Cole Drummond, Tyler Standley and Aaron Smernoff.
