helping her furry friends

January 24, 2008

Since Crestview Prep School second grade student Lauren Dundee, 8, was young, she has worked to make a difference for people, animals and our environment.

Recently, Lauren collected needed supplies for local charity Happy Strays Rescue.

Happy Strays is a nonprofit rescue group for stray and abandoned cats.

They work to find permanent, loving and safe homes for the cats they rescue.

They also assist low-income seniors with supplies of pet food and spay and neutering assistance.

To help the Happy Strays Rescue group, call (818) 541-9241 or visit www.orgsites.com/ca/happystrays.

The cats need all types of supplies including cat litter and food, old towels, heating pads, cages and carriers and more, according to Lauren.
