Crescenta Valley Sheriff's deputies made a routine traffic stop Monday that netted two suspects, five guns and several rounds of ammunition.
At the intersection of Angeles Crest Highway and Angeles Forest Highway deputies pulled over a 1992 Chevy Blazer that did not have a front license plate. They found the driver, David Aaron Jund, 47, of Little Rock, Calif. was driving on a suspended license and on parole for a weapons' violation. After a search of the vehicle, deputies found a backpack with ammunition magazines, two loaded guns, a pair of black leather gloves and a pair of latex gloves. Deputies then discovered that Jund was wearing body armor under his T-shirt. On further search, a clear plastic bag with three more loaded guns, a black holster, more ammunition including hollow point rounds, a pair of binoculars, a police radio frequency locator, a large police-style knife, a camouflage field jacket and camouflage hat were turned up.
