JOB FAIR AT PCC — Students and alumni will meet with employers on Thursday, May 10, at Pasadena City College's Job Fair. More than 50 employers will be on hand in the PCC Quad from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Representatives from business, medical, retail, other fields will take part in the event. JPL'S OPEN HOUSE IS MAY 19-20 — "Journey To the Planets and Beyond" is the theme of this year's open house at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which is set for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 19 and May 20. Admission is free and reservations are not required. JPL is located at 4800 Oak Grove Drive. Parking is available near the Oak Grove Drive main gate. Buses and tour guides will move people between different locations around the facility. Walking is required to some locations; comfortable shoes are recommended.

DREIER FIELD OFFICE IN LCF — Staff assistants for Rep. David Dreier will be at La Cañada Flintridge City Hall, 1327 Foothill Blvd., from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, May 23 to assist residents who may have a problem with federal bureaucracy. Constituents are advised to bring all letters and records pertinent to the matter they'd like to discuss with Dreier's aides.

RAFFLE FOR CANCER WALK — More than 20 Montrose Shopping Park Merchants have donated gift cards, goodies and gift certificates for a Raffle Basket that will be raffled off at the upcoming Foothills Relay For Life 24 Hour Cancer Walk on May 19-20. Tickets to win the basket will be available at the Relay For Life booth at the Montrose Farmer's Market Sundays May 6 and May 13, and at the event itself. The cost of tickets is 1 for $1, 7 for $5, and 15 for $10. Merchants who would like to be included in the raffle donors are asked to contact Regan Boone at 514-1128.
