He attended UCLA and Glendale College where he also played basketball.

In 1952 he met his future wife, Bette Sterling. He was drafted into the U.S. Army and was sent to Korea in late '52, where he served as an M.P.

Upon his discharge from the Army, Keith attended University of Southern California, from which he received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. After graduation he married Bette and moved with her to Mt. Vernon, Ohio where they set up housekeeping for two years. In 1958 they returned to Glendale and later moved to La Cañada.

He and his wife lived in La Cañada since 1959. Keith will be deeply missed by those who knew him: his golf buddies, his high school friends, college friends, and those who worked with him at Lockheed Aircraft Corpora-tion, and, more than anyone, his loving family.

A celebration of Keith's life will be held at La Cañada Thursday Club, 4440 Woodleigh Lane, on Saturday, Dec. 18, at 1 p.m.
